In short: We collect only what we need to fulfill orders, support you, run our site, and (with your consent) send updates. We use Shopify to power our store and trusted partners for payments, shipping, and email. You’re free to access, correct, or delete your info, and you can unsubscribe at any time. Questions? Who we are

Arc & Sparo Inc. (“Arc & Sparo”, “we”, “us”) designs, makes, and sells small-batch objects via arcsparo.com. We care about privacy and aim to collect and use only what’s necessary.

What we collect

  • Contact & order details: name, email, phone (optional), billing/shipping addresses.
  • Purchase & support info: items purchased, order notes, returns, messages you send us.
  • Payment: processed by our payment provider; we don’t store full card numbers.
  • Device & usage data: IP, browser/device, pages viewed, and cookies for site security, performance, and (if enabled) analytics/marketing.

Why we use it

  • To fulfill your order: process payment, ship, handle returns, and provide support.
  • To operate and improve our site: fraud prevention, performance, troubleshooting.
  • With your consent: newsletters or product updates (unsubscribe anytime).
  • Legal reasons: taxes, accounting, and compliance where required.

Who we share it with (service providers only, for the purposes above)

  • Shopify (store platform & hosting) and Shopify apps you enable in your account experience.
  • Payment processors (e.g., credit card provider), shipping carriers, and email service.
    Some providers store or process data outside Canada (e.g., U.S.). We take reasonable steps (contracts and safeguards) to protect your information.

Cookies & analytics

We use essential cookies so the store works (cart, checkout, security). If we use analytics/marketing cookies, we’ll ask for your consent and give you controls to manage preferences at any time. You can also control cookies in your browser settings.

Your choices & rights

  • Access & correction: ask for a copy of your personal information or to fix inaccuracies.
  • Deletion: request deletion where feasible (we may keep what law requires, e.g., invoices).
  • Marketing opt-out: use the unsubscribe link in any email or contact us.
  • Consent: you can withdraw consent to optional uses (like newsletters) at any time.

We name the Privacy Officer above as the person responsible for personal information. You may request details of our governance practices, including how to submit a complaint.

Children

Our site isn’t intended for children under the age of majority. We don’t knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has provided data, contact us to remove it.

Security & retention

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information. No method is 100% secure, but we work to keep risk low. We retain information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law.

Shopify’s role

Our store runs on Shopify. Shopify also processes your data to provide and improve its services (for us and other merchants). For details or to exercise rights about data Shopify controls, see the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy and Shopify Privacy Portal.

International transfers

If data is transferred outside your region, we rely on contractual safeguards and provider security practices. By using our site, you understand your data may be processed in other countries.
